Dear Mama, I've been there. It's not easy raising children, especially when we're doing things so differently to the generations before us. And most of us still don't have a village of support – and I mean real support, not your family putting pressure on you to life a certain way.
When I first became a mother, I started to question everything in my life, and I felt incredibly alone.Â
But when I attended my first mother's circle – I knew I had found my sisters. The circle was full of wise women at all different stages of the motherhood journey, from the baby stage to having teenagers and twenty-year olds.
For the first time, I saw the bigger picture and how quickly each stage goes. I also saw the importance of prioritising my own wellbeing at all times. I realised that I had the power to make small changes in my life that gave me back my power.
Mother Connected is exactly this – a safe, non-judgemental space where mothers come together and share their wisdom and support each other to return to our full power as mothers and as women.
So that you can show up with pride each day and be the person you want to be.Â
So that you feel more grounded when overwhelm, frustration or fear comes knocking.
So that you're able to use your emotions to your advantage and fuel your fire by doing more of the things you love.
So that you're no longer afraid of things falling apart without you, and you can finally be the fun mum you know you are.
Because being in circle with other mothers allows you not only the chance to be seen and heard, but the safe environment to unshackle yourself from old patterns.
My mission, in facilitating this circle, is for more mothers to role model fulfilment and power to their children. I believe this how we are going to change the world.
